Electric Garage Doors East Sussex
Although not common, side hinged/swing garage doors can be automated very easily. We were asked to turn a traditional pair of timber side hung garage doors in Uckfield East Sussex, from manually operated to electrically operated. A standard Hormann electric garage door opener was used with a pair of specially adapted arms. The customer was pleased to be able to keep the traditional look of her existing garage doors but with the convenience of being able to open them without getting out of her car. It also meant that each leaf of the door was held open even under windy conditions
