Cardale Garage Door Springs

Garage door repairs Beckenham Kent-We were called out by a regular customer who could not open her automatic garage door. The problem was not with the electric garage door opener but with the garage door springs. One of the springs had broken at the loop where it hooks onto the adjustable bolt on the frame. The door was lifted manually and as with all retractable garage door springs, it was replaced with the door in the up position, where there is the least amount of tension on the spring. The other unbroken spring was also changed as it was the same age as the broken spring and could also go at any time. When both springs had been changed and tensioned the electric garage door opener lifted the door with ease.
