A Garage Door Repair in East Sussex:A broken pivot arm on a garage door in Lewes, East Sussex was concerning our customer. We attended site to assess the problem and it was concluded that it would be dangerous not to replace it. As the door was discontinued no parts were available. Due to the customers house being in a conservation area he did not want to apply for planning permission to change his garage door. Also a new door would not match his immediate neighbours. The solution was to retain the existing door panel and replace all the lifting mechanism. This included new pivot arms, springs, tracks and rollers. When the job was completed the door still matched their neighbours but had all new lifting gear, all at a cost far less than a new garage door.
