A protruding gas meter prevented this customer from having a conventional up and over garage door. The best solution to this problem was a pair of side hinged garage doors. The side hung garage doors do not pass back into the garage, so they are not affected by internal shelving, storage or meters. In this instance the customer was also keen on a maintenance free garage door, so we installed one of the GRP (fibreglass) garage doors in the Wessex range. These doors are also supplied with a maintenance free, plastic coated steel frame.
